It’s back and better than ever! Capricorn Caves is re-launching its POO and SPEW Tour these school holidays. Take part in the most comprehensive educational experience in the region. Learn the secrets of the Dry Rainforest surrounding the Capricorn Caves, get hands on with some of our reptilian friends and discover the past through a palaeontology dig-site and fossicking for fossils!

These school holidays at 2pm, let us take care of the kids for 2 hours, get them into the caves and learning amazing things.

About Capricorn Caves

Capricorn Caves is a Queensland Tourism award winning ecotourist attraction located just 23km north of Rockhampton and only 4klm off the main highway. For over 130 years guests have enjoyed the wonders of these ancient limestone caves. All tours are fully hosted and range from easy walking to fossil discoveries and heart pumping adventure. There is something to suit everyone. So please come explore our world. All tours require a minimum of 2 adults for safety reasons. No public transport available.

Tour is weather dependant. Capricorn Caves will advise on the day if bookings need to be rescheduled.

Other Information

Children must be fed and toileted prior to drop off. Please note that places are strictly limited, with a maximum of 20 children per 2 supervisors for each activity so bookings are essential.
